Dr. Rofiat Olusola Dauda-Olajide is a dedicated academic, researcher, and fitness professional with expertise in Administration and Management of aHuman Kinetics Education, exercise science, and health promotion. She currently serves as a lecturer in the Department of Human Kinetics Education, where she is actively involved in teaching, research, and community engagement.

With a strong passion for promoting healthy lifestyles, she specializes in physical activity interventions, exercise therapy, and wellness education, particularly among diverse populations including university students staff, adults, and the aging community. Her work emphasizes the role of structured exercise programmes in enhancing physiological fitness, preventing lifestyle-related diseases, and supporting graceful aging.

In addition to her academic responsibilities, she is an ex – International athlete, veteran athletics coach, certified fitness instructor who coordinates and facilitates keep-fit and recreational exercise programmes within the university community. She is committed to bridging the gap between theory and practice by mentoring students and trainees in both the practical and theoretical aspects of exercise science, including massage therapy and fitness instruction.

Her research interests include sports infrastructural construction, physical activity lifestyles, health promotion, sports development, and strategic communication in sports organizations. She has contributed to academic scholarship through research projects, case studies, and seminar presentations addressing contemporary health and fitness challenges.

A passionate advocate for holistic well-being, she continues to impact lives through teaching, mentorship, and community-based fitness initiatives, promoting a culture of active living and sustainable health practices.
